Visual and Audio Recording Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
When you attend the Pinot Forum event or program, you enter an area where photography, video, and audio recording may occur. By participating in the event, you consent to the capturing of interviews, photographs, audio recordings, video recordings, or other media collectively referred to as “Content.”
You grant Pinot Forum, its staff, sponsors, partners, third-party vendors, and others approved at the discretion of the Pinot Forum Board of Directors, the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and/or appearance as such may be captured in any Content. This includes the rights to release, publish, exhibit, or reproduce such Content for promotional purposes, advertising, or inclusion on websites, social media, or any other media channels. Content may also be used to promote future Pinot Forum events, initiatives, or related brands.
You acknowledge and agree that Pinot Forum and its approved representatives maintain complete ownership of all Content and that no compensation will be provided for the use of such Content.
By attending the event, you release Pinot Forum, its officers, employees, sponsors, partners, third-party vendors, and all persons involved from any liability connected with the creation, recording, digitization, publication, or use of the Content. This includes any claims related to invasion of privacy, right of publicity, misappropriation or misuse of image, and/or defamation. You also waive any right to inspect or approve the Content or any derivatives created from it.
If you are under the age of 21, you must not attend the event. By attending, you represent that you are at least 21 years of age.
If you do not consent to this policy, please notify Pinot Forum in writing before the event by emailing info@pinotforum.com with your full name, email address, and a statement indicating your desire to opt out of being included in any Content.
This agreement is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any modifications to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by all relevant parties.
