Russian River Valley Winegrowers

The Russian River Valley Winegrowers (RRVW) is a community of farmers and winemakers dedicated to promoting the exceptional grapes and world-renowned wines that reflect the unique diversity of the Russian River Valley AVA. As multi-generational stewards of their land and natural resources, the members of RRVW continuously innovate sustainable practices to ensure the future of this premier wine region, renowned for its distinctive Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and other grape varieties.
The legacy of the Russian River Valley Winegrowers began in the 19th century when immigrants from Mediterranean countries settled in the region and began planting vines. While many of these early vineyards served as "gardens" for personal family consumption, commercial wineries soon emerged. By the dawn of the 20th century, nearly 200 wineries were operating in the valley.
Today, every vineyard in the Russian River Valley tells a story. With deep roots in California’s viticultural history, the visionary winemakers of the region use exceptional fruit to craft wines that are truly unique. RRVW continues this legacy, producing wines that showcase the distinct character and unparalleled quality of the Russian River Valley.
