Today, Joseph Swan Vineyard produces 5,000 cases of wine annually, consisting primarily of several

bottlings each of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay along with Zinfandel and Syrah. Winemaking is minimal

but specific to each variety and vineyard. The goal is to make wines that speak eloquently of the place

of their birth. The white wines are whole cluster pressed and barrel fermented, the red wines fermented

in open top fermenters for up to four weeks. Indigenous yeast, spontaneous malolactics, minimal or

no racking, and bottling without fining or filtration are employed whenever possible.
