Ray Duncan and his four sons founded Twomey Cellars in 1999 with the same philosophy that Ray and Justin Meyer established for Silver Oak: create food-friendly wine that is deliciously drinkable upon release. With Twomey, they combine winemaking experience with a spirit of innovation, enabling them to work with different varietals, winemaking techniques and some of the best vineyard sites in California.

Twomey Cellars is dedicated to producing Pinot Noirs that achieve the greatest balance and expression of each appellation. Their hands-on artisan approach is employed at their state-of-the-art winery in the heart of the Russian River Valley. Winemaker Ben Cane has traveled throughout California in search of growers who specialize in Pinot Noir resulting in vineyard-driven, regionally-based wines.
