Winemaker and Forum Contact: Mike Sullivan

Founded in 2005 by Joe Anderson and Mary Dewane, and winemaker Mike Sullivan, Benovia Winery farms 71.7 acres of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Zinfandel from estate vineyards in the Russian River Valley and its surrounding wine growing area. Farming three vineyards and having its own facility gives the winery a high degree of control over its handcrafted Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Zinfandel wines from vines to bottle.

Benovia embraces a winemaking philosophy that exclaims 'exceptional vineyard sites produce wines with remarkable personality and extraordinary character'. Our wish is to showcase the uniqueness of our estate vineyards and explore the diverse expression of Pinot Noir throughout the Russian River and Northern California. Our wines are hand-crafted; we will always maintain a high level of personal involvement in farming wines with a sense of place. Total production is currently less than 3000 cases.
